'It was great to meet Pippa on the first day for advice on what to do. Patrick Neale also was a great help in directing me to contacts in Batch and Bertline. Overall it was personal contact that made the book fair enjoyable and productive for me. The tea and snacks also kept the energy levels up'
'Thanks so much for helping with this - as a new bookseller it was so valuable and useful, and I came back brimming with ideas and advice from other booksellers. Offering the hotel made it possible to pack in so much more, and the seminars were really insightful'
'I thought the whole experience from communicating availability, to personal follow up, response to questions and the hotel and event itself exceeded expectations. I am really pleased to have the opportunity to congratulate the hard work which I, and I'm sure many others, found incredibly useful and effective. Many thanks.'
'We enjoyed our first visit to the London Book Fair. We found the BA publisher pitches including the children's pitch very useful in our buying for the remainder of the year including Christmas.'
'Found signing up for the programme really easy, the LBF website/calendar was great for organising and planning ahead (there was so much I wanted to squeeze in!) For me, I think the scheme is great and worked really well, thanks so much for having me!'
London Book & Screen Week
The London Book Fair sits in the heart of London Book & Screen Week - a capital-wide celebration of books, and the films, TV programmes, and virtual worlds they've inspired. Booksellers have the opportunity to list and promote their events on the LBSW website.
